According to the report, Buffalo Sabres general manager Darcy Regier will be the guest on Thursday's NHL Hour With Commissioner Gary Bettman on Sirius XM Radio at about 3 p.m. ET. Regier became general manager of the Sabres in 1997 and he is the longest-serving general manager in franchise history.
The show encourages hockey fans to call in with questions for the Commissioner. NHL Hour with Commissioner Gary Bettman now broadcasts live on Thursdays from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. ET on NHL Home Ice and on Sirius Channel 208 and NHL.com.

Vanek will be out for weeks due to upper body injury
It is reported that Buffalo Sabres( Sabres jerseys )forward Thomas Vanek will be out for weeks after sustaining an upper body injury in a 6-2 win over the Detroit Red Wings( Red Wings jerseys ). Without providing the exact nature of the injury, Ruff said that Vanek will miss some time or weeks. Vanek did not return after scoring his second goal of the game against Detroit at the second period.
Though Vanek fell awkwardly after snapping in the shot at the right post, Ruff said the player had been hurt earlier in the game. Vanek spent a few moments on the bench before leaving for the locker room.
