Phillies clinch home-field advantage in National League Division Series
The Phillies locked up home-field advantage in the National League Division Series, but they lost an opportunity for home field in the NL Championship Series. The Milwaukee Brewers beat the St.Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium in order to guarantee the Phillies the second-best record amongst NL division winners.
The Phillies, who have lost three consecutive games, can finish no better than 93-69. The Dodgers clinched the NL West on Saturday and will finish with no worse than a 94-68 record. The Phillies still could have home-field advantage in the NLCS, but only if the Cardinals beat the Dodgers in the NLDS.
