It is the perfect moment for Lemaire to return to Devils

NHL Network analyst Craig Button said the team Jacques Lemaire coached from 1993-98,is a new chance of GM Lou Lamoriello finding the right coach at the right time.

"What he has done in New Jersey -- he's always been able to find a guy who's the right fit at the right time," Button told NHL.com. "I think Jacques will be energized. It's a team that doesn't need development, but that leadership to try to push and compete for a Stanley Cup.

"I haven't met many successful coaches that don't believe the same thing-there's one puck on the ice and 10 skaters, and that means at any time nine guys don't have the puck, so you better know what to do when you don't have the puck," Button said. "I know different criticisms, we talk about high scoring power and great scoring and the Stanley Cup champions this last season, but in the last two games they put on a clinic of defensive hockey."

Right now it is the perfect time for Lemaire to return to the New Jersey Devils.
